    NOTES
Pressure testers (01) for hydraulic fluid systems must not be used for systems with brake fluid. The brake fluid will otherwise be mixed with mineral oil, which can cause brake failure!
NOTES
Use correct connection fitting (pitch, cone etc.). Leaks and measurement errors can otherwise occur.
NOTES
Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions.
In order to avoid measurement errors and incorrect operation.

DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7 Allow the engine to run at moderate speed and release the accelerator pedal suddenly IMPORTANT In order to produce the highest possible vacuum in the brake booster (3).
8 Immediately press down brake pedal as far as possible and insert brake pedal jack (02) with adapter between brake pedal and seat NOTES
Use the brake pedal jack (02) carefully.
In order to protect the brake pedal and seat against damage.

9 Read off and note brake pressure on high- pressure gauge of pressure tester (01)
10 Read off and note brake pressure again after 5 minutes on the high-pressure gauge of the pressure tester (01) IMPORTANT During the 5 min. duration of the test, the brake pressure may not drop more than 5%.
HIGH PRESSURE TEST Measure using pointer device
11 Switch off engine and loosen brake pedal jack (02)
12 Push down brake pedal several times IMPORTANT In order to reduce the vacuum in the brake booster (3).
13 Depress brake pedal as far as possible and insert the brake pedal jack (02) with adapter for brake pedal jack between the brake pedal and seat NOTES
Use the brake pedal jack (02) carefully.
In order to protect the brake pedal and seat against damage.

14 Move back brake pedal jack (02) slowly IMPORTANT Until a brake pressure of approx. 3 bar is displayed on the low pressure gauge of the pressure tester (01).
15 Read off and note the brake pressure after 2 minutes on the low pressure gauge of the pressure tester (01) IMPORTANT The brake pressure must not drop during the 2 min. duration of the test.
16 Remove brake pedal jack (02) and adapter for brake pedal jack
17 Detach the pressure tester (01) and screw the bleed screw into the brake caliper (2)
