	Remove/install
	Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury  to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.	AS47.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by fingers being pinched or crushed  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lids, tailgates or sliding roof.	Keep body parts and limbs well clear of moving parts.	AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
1	Open engine hood and raise to vertical position	Model 209	AR88.40-P-1000Q

2	Remove air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1150TMG
3	Remove fuel distributor rail (1) together with fuel injectors		AR07.03-P-1451TMG
4	Detach clamps (7) from the fuel injection valves (Y62) and fuel distributor rail (1)
5	Remove fuel injection valves (Y62) from fuel distributor rail (1)	Inspect sealing rings (13) for damage and replace if required, otherwise leaks may occur. Observe correct seating of the fuel injection valves (Y62) in the fuel distributor rail (1). The clamp (7) must get locked in the square catch (arrow) at the fuel injection valves (Y62). Wet sealing ring (13) slightly with liquid lubricant before assembly.

6	Install in the reverse order
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the running engine	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7	Carry out engine test run and check fuel system for leaks	In the event of oil loss, determine and eliminate the cause; otherwise, there may be malfunctions and damage to the engine as well as the environment.
