	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by handling hot or glowing objects.	Wear safety gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, if necessary.	AS00.00-Z-0002-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A

	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the vehicle lift.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Raise vehicle		AR00.60-P-1000TX
2	Remove center muffler (1) from right catalytic converter (2) and left catalytic converter (3) by unscrewing bolt (4, 5)	Clean connecting points free of combustion and corrosion residues. Replace seal (6, 7) and bolt (4, 5).

3	Support exhaust system (8) with transmission jack and transmission plate	Transmission jack   Transmission platform for passenger cars and commercial vehicles
4	Unhook exhaust system (8) from exhaust rubber mounts (9)	For easier disassembly: spread lubricant on retaining bracket (10) and bores of exhaust rubber mounts (9). Check exhaust rubber mounts (9) for wear and damage; replace if required

5	Lower and remove the exhaust system (8)
6	Install in the reverse order
	Checking
7	Check installation position and unobstructed movement of exhaust system (8)	The exhaust system (8) must be mounted free of tension; align exhaust system (8) if required.
	Risk of accident  caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury  caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8	Conduct engine test run and inspect exhaust system (8) for leaks
