1.1	Transfer basic data from overhead control panel control unit (N70) to STAR DIAGNOSIS	When installing new overhead control panel control unit (N70). Transfer buffered basic data to new overhead control panel control unit (N70), and for code (414) Tilting/sliding roof, normalize the anti-pinch protection.
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS, diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2.1	Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit	On vehicles without code (889) Keyless Go
2.2	Switch off ignition and place transmitter key out of transmission range of vehicle	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go
3	Use long wedge to pry off rain/light sensor covering (1) downward and remove		Figure
4	Use long wedge to unclip mirror base cover (2) from overhead control panel control unit (N70)		Figure
5	Release overhead control panel control unit (N70) at front by pressing push-button (3)
6	Use mounting wedge to unclip overhead control panel control unit (N70) at retaining springs (4) from headliner	Unclip carefully. Risk of damaging headliner.

7	Remove overhead control panel control unit (N70) far enough from headliner until the electrical connectors are accessible on the rear of the overhead control panel control unit (N70)
8	Detach electrical connectors from overhead control panel control unit (N70) and remove overhead control panel control unit (N70)	The number of electrical connectors is dependent on the vehicle equipment. Ensure that electric wiring harness is routed properly.
9	Install in the reverse order
10.1	Normalize tilting/sliding roof	For vehicles with code (414) Tilting/sliding roof
11	Read fault memory, erase if necessary
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS, diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
