	Removing
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
1	Remove rear axle shaft	Rear axle shaft bolted on	AR35.30-P-0620AC
		Rear axle shaft (inserted)	AR35.30-P-0620P
2	Clamp rear axle shaft using clamping jaws (01) into vise (02)	Clamping jaws	Fig 2
3	Remove pulse ring (5) using suitable tool from external joint end (4) of rear axle shaft
	Clean
4	Clean contact surface (4a) of pulse ring (5) on external joint end (4) of rear axle shaft	The contact surface (4a) of the pulse ring (5) on the external joint end (4) must be free of grease and dirt particles. If there is any sign of rust on the contact surface (4a) slightly grind off the contact surface (4a).
	Install
5	Mount pulse ring (5) using assembly tool (03) to external joint end (4) of rear axle shaft	The pulse ring (5) must not be knocked on. This will destroy the pulse ring (5). Turn pulse ring (5) using assembly tool to block. If necessary, stick pulse ring (5) using adhesive to external joint end (4).

6	Remove rear axle shaft from vise (02) and detach clamping jaws (01)	Clamping jaws	Fig 2

8	Read out fault memory with STAR DIAGNOSIS and erase if necessary		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
