Remove/install stabilizer bar on front axle - AR32.20-P-0300TW

	Remove/install
	Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
	When working on the front-end assembly, be careful not to scratch, mark or notch the surfaces of aluminum parts. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected
Installation	Only tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components when vehicle is in a ready-to-drive condition.
1	Remove air filter housing with air ducts	Pull air filter housing vertically upwards off the rubber retainers on the cylinder head covers. Installation: Rub the rubber retainers on the cylinder head covers and the sealing ring of the hot film mass air flow sensor in the air filter housing with liquid lubricant. 2	Remove cover over fuse box on left suspension strut	On vehicles with diesel engine
3	Mount engine hoist		AR33.10-P-0100-01T

4.1	Remove lower engine compartment paneling	On vehicles with gasoline engine	AR61.20-P-1105T
4.2	Remove soundproofing	On vehicles with diesel engine	AR94.30-P-5300T
5	Remove bolts of left and right front engine mounts from the front axle carrier		*BA22.10-P-1002-03A
6	Raise engine	Make sure when lifting out engine that no cables and lines are damaged and that engine does not hit against partition wall.
7	Remove nut (3) and remove screw (4)	Both sides of the vehicle.

8	Support front subframe (1)	When working on the front-end assembly, be careful not to scratch, mark or notch the surfaces of aluminum parts. Otherwise the service life of the of the parts will be reduced.	AR33.10-P-0100-03T
9	Remove bolts (7) from front axle carrier (1)	The bolts are self-tapping, so the following points must be observed: Never retap thread in longitudinal member. Renew bolts. Use only genuine bolts (4 in total). When screwing in do not attach bolts at an angle Do not use an impact wrench. Observe tightening torque.

10	Lower the front axle carrier (1) until the bolts (5) are accessible	Do not subject steering coupling to tensile loads.
11	Remove bolts (5) and remove torsion bar holder (6)		*BA32.20-P-1008-02B
12	Take off torsion bar (2)
13	Install in the reverse order
14	Perform a wheel alignment check		AR40.20-P-0200T
