	Balancing
1	Remove wheels
	Remove/install wheels		AP40.10-P-4050SX
2.1	Remove jammed wheel balance weight (43a) using assembly tool		Fig 3
2.2	Remove adhesive weights (43b, 43c) using removal tool	Do not use a hard, pointed or sharp-edged tool, in order to avoid damaging the surface of the disk wheels.	Fig 4

	Clean
3	Clean wheels if necessary.	Dirt on the tire or disk wheel cause incorrect measurement results when balancing and it is therefore essential that dirt be removed before balancing
	Balance wheels while stationary
4	Mounting centering sleeve		AR40.10-P-1040-01A
4	Mounting centering sleeve		*WH58.30-Z-1002-18A
5	Fasten wheels to stationary balancing machine and balance them	Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions. Use adhesive weights (43b, 43c) when installation conditions are cramped. The residual imbalance on each side of the wheel may not exceed 10 grams.
6	Mount wheels
	Remove/install wheels		AP40.10-P-4050SX
	Balance wheels dynamically
7	Switch off electronic stability program (ESP)	Press the ESP OFF switch (S6/2s11) in the cockpit switch group (S6/2). The ESP warning lamp (A1e41) in the instrument cluster (A1) must light up
8	Close vehicle doors, hood and trunk lid
	Risk of death caused by being drawn into rotating vehicle parts	Do not insert your hand into rotating parts. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Secure area of rotating vehicle components against unauthorized access.	AS00.00-Z-0004-01A
9	Balance wheels with dynamic balancing machine on vehicle	Drive rear wheels using vehicle engine only, as otherwise the rear axle center assembly will be damaged. Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions. Only wheels which have been balanced statically beforehand may be dynamically balanced.	AS00.00-Z-0004-01A
10	Switch on electronic stability program (ESP)	Press the ESP OFF switch (S6/2s11) in the cockpit switch group (S6/2). The ESP warning lamp (A1e41) in the instrument cluster (A1) must go out.
