	Remove/install
1.1	Store basic data from instrument cluster (A1) temporarily in STAR DIAGNOSIS	When installing new instrument cluster (A1). Installation  : Transfer the cached basic data to the new instrument cluster (A1).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnostic system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
2	Move steering column back and down
3	Switch off ignition and withdraw transmitter key or Keyless Go start/stop button from the EIS [EZS] control unit	Keyless Go start/stop button only for vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go.
4	In working area, cover trim strip on instrument panel with clean rag
5	Remove cockpit switch group		AR54.25-P-1000SX
6	Unclip covering (1) on instrument cluster (A1)		Fig 2
7	Remove bolts (2), remove instrument cluster (A1) from instrument panel and disconnect electrical connector at rear
	Notes on avoiding damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
8	Install in the reverse order
