Prepare roof paneling at side - AR65.10-P-1020-02SC
- Position metal needle template (2) offset on Y-markings (arrows) approx. 10 mm toward rear and scribe cut (area A).
- Cut along broken line using body saw (area A) and remove section (1.1) from side roof paneling (1).
- Cut side roof paneling (1) to size using body saw and crimp toward inside using sheet metal crimping pliers (area B).
For all other operation steps, observe information on pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas using round wire brush on both sides (areas D and E).
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal from inside in cross-hatched areas using round wire brush on one side (area C and F).
- Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas using round wire brush on one side (all other mating surfaces illustrated in cross-hatched areas).
- Remove grinding and drill shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
