	Remove/install
1	Remove steering wheel (1)	The steering wheel (1) is no longer required. Installation:  Use new steering wheel (1) with steering wheel heater. Connect coupling (3) for new steering wheel (1) to fanfare horns and airbag clock spring contact of steering column tube switch module (2).	AR46.10-P-0100SX
2	Remove steering column tube switch module (2)	The steering column tube switch module (2) is no longer required. Installation:  Use new steering column tube switch module (2) with steering wheel heater switch (S59/1s2).	AR54.25-P-2800-01SX
3	Remove front SAM control module with fuse and relay module	without code (610) Night View Assist. Installation:  Install new compatible front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module.	AR54.21-P-1260SX
4	Install in the reverse order
5	Connect Star Diagnosis
6	Enter special equipment in the vehicle data card and in the vehicle's online data card	Code (443) steering wheel heater.
7	Carry out variant coding with the Diagnosis Assistance System by means of Software Calibration Number (SCN)
8	Disconnect Star Diagnosis
9	Document retrofitted equipment using vehicle documentation (VeDoc)	Attach "Steering wheel heater retrofitted as per note under field organization text for design group 46.	AN46.11-P-0001SC
	Check
10	Carry out function check of steering wheel heater	The interior temperature of the vehicle must be below 30 °C for the function of the steering wheel heater.
