In-car temperature sensor, component description - GF83.57-P-2127SX
MODEL 216.3, 221.0 /1 up to Model Year 8
Location
The in-car temperature sensor is located in the area of the steering wheel below the trim strip of the instrument panel.
Task
The in-car temperature sensor is used to detect the temperature in the vehicle interior.
Function
The in-car temperature sensor consists of a temperature-dependent resistor which changes its resistance value as the temperature changes. This value is used by the AAC [KLA] control unit (N22/1) to calculate the temperature in the vehicle interior.
