	Remove
1	Remove complete exhaust system	Only remove exhaust system as of flange connection
		Engine 273, 275 in model 216	AR49.10-P-7100SX
2	Inspect suspension parts, sealing rings and exhaust rubber mounts for reusability	Replace components if necessary.
3	Mark exhaust gas pipes (3) of the series exhaust system	The trimming line (see arrows) at the exhaust gas pipes (3) is measured as of welding seam of left (1) and right (2) rear muffler. Dimension (a) = 88 mm.
4	Place AMG rear muffler exactly above removed series rear mufflers
5	Mark pipe ends of AMG rear mufflers on the exhaust pipes (3) of the series exhaust system	A distance of approx. 60 mm (overlap) should exist between both markings. If necessary, correct position of cut point accordingly.
6	Cut off exhaust pipes (3) of the series exhaust system	Carefully deburr cut edges.
	Install
7.1	Attach tailpipe cutout at rear bumper	The rear series bumper is not suitable for fitting the AMG muffler system. No cutting is required for fitting the AMG rear apron of the CL63 AMG (216.377) with the number B6 603 63 75 (with code (233) DISTRONIC PLUS, without PTS) or B6 603 63 77 (with PTS, standard).
7.2	Replace lower section of paneling at rear bumper	Only vehicles with code (772) AMG styling package - front spoiler, side skirt and rear apron (see note for ordering parts).
8	AMG rear muffler preassembled on the standard exhaust system	For this, reuse the serial clamps if possible.
9	Install exhaust system complete	From flange connection.
		Engine 273, 275 in model 216	AR49.10-P-7100SX
10	Align and screw down exhaust system	Ensure that the tail pipes are parallel and have adequate clearance to the rear apron.
11	Check the whole exhaust system for leaks
12	Hand over the supplied EG model approval to the customer	Approval by the Technical Inspection Association is not necessary in Germany! Carry the EG model approval supplied for AMG muffler system in the vehicle.
