Retrofit rear mud guards - AZ88.30-P-0003-04SC

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle.

1. Clean rear bumper in cross-hatched area with specified cleaning agent.

   Rear bumper must be dry, free of dust and grease in cross-hatched area.

2. Remove expansion rivet (3) from rear bumper.

   Expansion rivet (3) is reused.

3. Loosen protective foil on adhesive strips on rear mud guards (2) from corners and position so that ends of protective foil extend beyond outer edge of rear mud guards (2)

   Do not remove protective foil on adhesive strips completely.

4. Position rear mud guard (2) on rear bumper as shown in picture; observe position of lug (arrow) in bead on rear bumper.
5. Install removed expansion rivet (3) on rear bumper.

6. Position rear mud guard (2) on rear bumper as shown in picture; observe position of lug (arrow) in bead on rear bumper.
7. Install retaining clips (4).

   A barb is present on the retaining clips (4) for the rear mud guards (2) on both sides.

8. Make Ø 6.5 mm passage in wheel well paneling with punch at position indicated by rear mud guard (2).
9. Install supplied expansion rivet (5) on wheel well paneling.
10. Secure expansion rivet (5) with tooth lock washer (6).

11. Remove entire protective foil (arrows) from adhesive strips on rear mud guards (2) and uniformly press adhesive strips against rear bumper (2)
