Purposes of alarm signal horn

Inclination sensor, function

When the tow-away protection function is activated, the inclination sensor determines a new reference position with which the relative vehicle inclination is compared during the activated time period. If the maximum vehicle inclination in relation to the reference position is exceeded, an alarm is output, at the earliest, 25 s after arming. If the vehicle inclination changes very slowly (e.g. leaky tire), the reference position adapts to the current vehicle position to prevent inadvertent activation of the inclination sensor.
