	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	see AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
1	Raise vehicle with lifting platform
2	Remove rear section of fender liner on left or right front fender
	Risk of injury caused by body parts being pinched or crushed when working on gas-operated struts under tension	Only remove and install gas-operated struts when they are not under tension and when the components are properly secured.	see AS00.00-Z-0012-01A
3	Lift retainers (2) at top and bottom of gas-operated strut (1) with suitable screwdriver and remove gas-operated strut (1) from mounts	Do not remove retainers (2), otherwise tension of the retainers (2) is no longer ensured
4	Install in the reverse order
