Function

When the selector lever is moved into one of the selector lever positions "R", "N" and "D" the roller engages in the cam with recess. The selector lever is locked to prevent longitudinal movement. It can now only still be shifted out of the respective selector lever position against the force of the leaf spring.

The transverse movement into selector lever position "D" (touch shift towards "+" and "-") continues to be possible. The selector lever is freely movable in this direction. Once the touch shift has occurred the retracting spring presses the selector lever back into the starting position.
