Location 

The steering column adjustment motors are mounted directly onto the steering column (1).

Task 

The steering column adjustment motors drive the spindles (2) and the shaft (3) to perform adjustment in height and length to the steering column.

To record the position they are equipped with integrated Hall sensors.

Actuation and position recording are performed by the driver seat control unit (N32/1).
