	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100°C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

1	Move head restraint down
2	Move front seat (1) forward and fully upwards
3	Unclip belt end fitting cover (2) at outer panel (3)	Model 204.0/2/9, 212, 218

6	Remove bolts (6, 7) from seat rails		*BA91.10-P-1002-01Q
7.1	Move front seat (1) and front seat backrest to rear	Model 204.0/2/9, 212, 218 The front seat (1) is removed from the vehicle through the door cutout for the rear door.
7.2	Position front seat (1) to rear	Model 204.3, 207
8	Remove bolts (4, 5) from seat rails		*BA91.10-P-1002-01Q
9	Disconnect ground line for on-board electrical system battery (G1)	Model 204	AR54.10-P-0003CW

10	Tilt back front seat (1)
11	Disconnect electrical connectors from bottom of front seat (1)	The number of electrical connectors depends on the equipment installed.

14.1	Remove the front seat (1) from the vehicle through the door cutout for the rear door.	Model 204.0/2/9, 212, 218 Carefully remove front seat (1) from vehicle. Otherwise components in vehicle interior or at rear door will be damaged. Aid of helper required. Ensure that the locking bolts of the seat rails are correctly seated in the vehicle floor.
14.2	Remove front seat (1) from vehicle	Model 204.3, 207 Carefully remove front seat (1) from vehicle. Otherwise components in vehicle interior will be damaged. Aid of helper required. Ensure that the locking bolts of the seat rails are correctly seated in the vehicle floor.
15	Release covers on seat rails and remove
16	Put down front seat (1) and secure it against tipping over
17	Install in the reverse order
