Location 

The motors are mounted in each seat at the bottom of the seat frame and in the backrest.

Task 

Realization of the following adjustments:

• Backrest adjustment
• Seat height adjustment
• Seat fore/aft adjustment
  • Driver seat (with or or with code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors))
  • Front passenger seat (with or or with code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory)
• Seat cushion inclination adjustment
  • Driver seat (with or or with code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors))
  • Front passenger seat (with or or with code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory)
• Head restraint adjustment
  • Driver seat (with code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors))
  • Front passenger seat (with code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory)

Function without code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors) 

The seat adjustment motors are directly actuated via the switches:

• Left front seat adjustment switch group (S22) or (with )
• Driver seat partially electric seat adjustment switch (S22/1) and with out (without )
• Right front seat adjustment switch group (S23) (with or )
• Front passenger seat partially electric seat adjustment switch (S23/1) (without and without )

Function with code (275) Memory package (driver seat, steering column, mirrors) or with code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory 

The seat adjustment motors are actuated by the driver seat control unit (N32/1) or the front passenger seat control unit (N32/2). A Hall sensor is located on each seat adjustment motor for position recognition.
