Location
The evaporator temperature sensor is located in the air flow on the right behind the evaporator, in the center of the A/C housing at the bottom.
Task
The evaporator temperature sensor records the temperature at the evaporator air outlet. To prevent the evaporator from icing up, the refrigerant compressor output (A9) is controlled accordingly.
The evaporator temperature sensor is read in discretely by the automatic air conditioning control and operating unit (N22/7).
