Disposing of shock absorber - OS32.25-P-0121-01GC

  1. Drill a hole in the shock absorber tube approx. 45 mm (dimension A) away from the bottom eyelet using a 5 mm dia. drill bit (the gas escapes).
  2. Push piston rod all the way in and pull out again.
  3. Remove protective tube from shock absorber.
  4. Drill a hole in the shock absorber tube approx. 30 mm (dimension B) away from the top edge of the tube using a 5 mm dia. drill bit.
  5. Pump the shock absorber empty by pushing in and pulling out the piston rod several times.

    IMPORTANT Observe regulations governing disposal of hydraulic fluid.

  6. Dispose of shock absorber (scrap).
