  1. Adjust bleeding pressure at brake fluid changing unit to 2.0 bar.
  2. Remove dust caps of bleed screws (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) on the brake calipers.
  3. Connect bleed hose of bleed bottle (01) to bleed screw (1) of brake caliper.
  4. Open bleed screw (1) on brake caliper.
  1. 5.1 Bleeding the hydraulic system of the brake system:  (after this was opened for repair purposes)

Depress the brake pedal repeatedly until fresh brake fluid flows out free of bubbles  at the bleed screw (1) of the brake caliper.

NOTES To bleed the brake system correctly it is essential to pump the brake pedal throughout the entire bleeding process!

Otherwise malfunctions and failure of the brake system can occur due to the remaining residual air!

NOTES In order to avoid the intake of air, do not pump the brake pedal in a jerking manner, but gradually release.

IMPORTANT The bleed screw (1) at the brake caliper can remain open during the entire pumping procedure.

IMPORTANT Required total volume of brake fluid: approx. 1.5 liter.

  2. 5.2 Replacing the brake fluid of the brake system:  (Hydraulic system of the brake system was not opened previously for repair purposes)

Keep the bleed screw (1) at the brake caliper open until fresh brake fluid flows out.

IMPORTANT It is not necessary to pump the brake pedal!

IMPORTANT Total quantity of brake fluid required: approx. 0.75 liters.

  3. 6 Close bleed screw (1) at brake caliper.
  4. 7 Repeat process at bleed screws (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) of brake calipers.

IMPORTANT The numbering of the bleed screws (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) shows the opening sequence.

  5. 8 Disconnect bleed hose of bleed bottle (01) from bleed screw (1) of brake caliper.
  6. 9 Vehicles with manual transmission:

Remove the cover (7) from the bell housing and repeat bleeding process at the bleed screw of the central clutch operator.

  7. 10 Attach dust caps of bleed screws (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) to brake calipers and cover (7).
