Remove inner C-pillar side wall. - AR63.10-P-0700-01CW

- Expose spot welds on outer C-pillar (1) (areas A, B, C, D, E, E1 , F and G).
- Cut out spot welds on outer C-pillar (1) with
spot weld milling cutter or Vario drill spot weld removing tool (areas A, B, C, D, E, E1 F and G).
- Heat outer C-pillar (1) in shaded area with hot air gun.
Crosshatched area is bonded.
- Remove damaged outer C-pillar (1).

Dimensions:
- Loosen water drain hose from retaining clips and remove.
- Scribe separation line on inner C-pillar (2) (area H).
- Cut inner C-pillar (2) on separation point with body saw (area H).
- Expose spot welds on inner C-pillar (2) and rear outer wheelhouse (3) (areas I, I1 I2 , J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q and R).
- Cut out spot welds on inner C-pillar (2) and rear outer wheelhouse (3) with
spot weld milling cutter or Vario drill spot weld removing tool (areas I, I1 , I2 , J, K, L, M, N, P, Q and R).
- Drill Ø 6.5 mm spot welds on inner C-pillar (2) and rear outer wheelhouse (3) (area O).
- Bend open sheet metal lug on outer rear wheelhouse (3) (arrow).
- Heat inner C-pillar (2) and outer rear wheelhouse (3) in crosshatched areas with hot air gun.
Crosshatched areas are bonded.
- Remove damaged inner C-pillar (2) and outer rear wheelhouse (3).
- Grind mating surfaces in crosshatched areas down to bare metal using round wire brush.
Grind mating surface down to bare metal from inside (area T).
Grind spot weld flanges down to bare metal on both sides.
- Remove grinding and drill shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
- Coat insides of spot weld flanges with zinc dust paint.

Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint to prevent adhesion problems (areas S and T).
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
