Install main floor, inner longitudinal member and middle crossmember - AR63.40-P-1180-08CW

IMPORTANT The following steps are shown on model 204.0.

  1. Install underfloor (4), inner side longitudinal member (6), connecting carrier (1), front crossmember (2) and rear crossmember (3), fit and fix in place.
  2. Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes in connecting carrier (1), front crossmember (2), rear crossmember (3) and underfloor (4) (areas A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I).
  3. Remove connecting carrier (1), front crossmember (2) and rear crossmember (3).
  4. Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes rivet holes on underfloor (4) (areas J, K and L).
  5. Remove underfloor (4) and inner side longitudinal member (6).
  6. Deburr rivet holes on both sides

  7. Apply 2-component adhesive in cross-hatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Apply 2-component adhesive from below in area (M).

    IMPORTANT Refer to the manufacturer's information for the curing and working times of 2-component adhesive.

  8. Install underfloor (4) and inner side longitudinal member (6), fit and fasten with manual temporary fasteners.
  9. Rivet underfloor (4) with Ø 6.4 x14 blind rivets (areas N, O and P).

    IMPORTANT On model 204.9 complete all brazed MIG joints on bracket (3).

  10. Apply 2-component adhesive in cross-hatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Refer to the manufacturer's information for the curing and working times of 2-component adhesive.

  11. Install connecting carrier (1), front crossmember (2) and rear crossmember (3), fit and fix in place with manual temporary fasteners
  12. Rivet connecting carrier (1), front crossmember (2) and rear crossmember (3) with Ø 6.4 x14 blind rivets (areas Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X and Y).

  13. Inner side longitudinal member (6), connecting carrier (1), front crossmember (2) and rear crossmember (3) POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas Z, AA and AC).
  14. Inner side longitudinal member (6) SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area AB).
  15. Grind weld in area (AB) down flat on contact surface to outer side longitudinal member (7).
  16. Install offset reinforcement (2), fit and fix in place.
  17. Offset reinforcement (2) POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas AD and AE).
  18. Offset reinforcement (2) SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (areas AF).

  19. Install outer side longitudinal member (7), fit and fix in place.
  20. Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes (areas AG and AH).
  21. Remove outer side longitudinal member (7).
  22. Deburr rivet holes on both sides
  23. Apply 2-component adhesive in cross-hatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Refer to the manufacturer's information for the curing and working times of 2-component adhesive.

  24. Install outer side longitudinal member (7), fit and fix in place with manual temporary fasteners
  25. Rivet outer side longitudinal member (7) with Ø 6.4 x14 blind rivets (areas AI and AJ).
  26. Outer side longitudinal member (7) POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas AK, AL, AM and AN).
  27. Outer side longitudinal member (7) SHIELDED GAS SEAM WELD (area AO).
  28. Outer side longitudinal member (7) SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD (area AP).
