Install and weld in inner C-pillar side wall - AR63.10-P-0700-03CW

Set up side portal frame.
Observe set-up plans.
- Install inner C-pillar side wall (1) with rear fender, fit and fasten with
check and welding device and clamping pliers.
- Remove rear fender.
- Center punch rivet holes on inner C-pillar side wall (1) with BTR Usibor center punch, Ø 8 80 mm (area A).
- Drill rivet holes on an inner C-pillar side wall (1) with BTR Usibor drill bit, Ø 6.7 mm (area A).
- Drill Ø 6.7 mm rivet holes on inner C-pillar side wall (1) (areas B, C, D, E1 and F).
Remove check and welding device and inner C-pillar side wall (1).
- Deburr rivet holes on inner C-pillar side wall (1) on both sides.
- Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.
Do not coat bonding surfaces with zinc dust paint to prevent adhesion problems (areas A, C and E 1).
- Apply 2-component adhesive to inner C-pillar (1) and body in crosshatched areas.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
Refer to manufacturer specifications for adhesive curing and application times.
- Install inner C-pillar side wall (1), fit with manual temporary fasteners and clamping pliers.
- Rivet inner C-pillar side wall (1) with blind rivet, steel - steel, dia. 6.2x12, 5 (area A).
- Rivet inner C-pillar side wall (1) with Polygrip flat/round head rivet, Ø 6.4x14 (areas B, C, D, E1 and F).
- Inner C-pillar side wall (1)
(areas G, H, I, J, K and L).
- Inner C-pillar side wall (1)
(area E 2).
- Bend open sheet metal lug on outer rear wheelhouse (2) (arrow).
- Inner C-pillar side wall (1)
(areas M and N).
- Inner C-pillar side wall (1)
(area O).
Weld in intervals, allow to cool down in between; minimum heat distortion (area O).
- Clean welds with round wire brush.
- Remove grinding and drill shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
