IMPORTANT The following operation steps are shown on model 204.0.

  1. Expose spot welds on outer side longitudinal member section (7.1) (areas, A 1 , A2, B, C, D, E and F).
  2. Drill out Ø 6.7 mm spot welds on outer side longitudinal member section (7.1) (areas A and A 2).
  3. Cut out spot welds on outer side longitudinal member section (7.1) (areas B, C, D, E and F).
  4. Heat outer side longitudinal member section (7.1) in cross-hatched area.

    IMPORTANT cross-hatched area is bonded.

  5. Remove section from outer side longitudinal member (7.1).
  6. Expose spot welds on offset reinforcement (5) and inner side longitudinal member (6) (areas I and J).
  7. Scribe separation line on offset reinforcement (5) and inner side longitudinal member (6) (areas G and H).
  8. Cut offset reinforcement (5) and inner side longitudinal member (6) at separation line (areas G and H).
