Only carry out the oil level check at interior temperature and not on a rear axle center assembly which is at operating temperature. Otherwise, when the rear axle differential is at operating temperature, required oil could escape.

Clean area around oil filler screw (50 g).
Remove oil filler screw (50 g)
Replace oil filler screw (50g).
If necessary, collect any oil which runs out and allow to run out until the oil still only drips out of threaded hole.
Check oil level.
With the correct oil level the oil reaches up to the bottom edge of the threaded hole.

Clean new oil filler screw and threaded hole in rear axle differential using cleaning spray and a suitable rag.
The oil filler screw and threaded hole must be free from oil and grease.
Coat roughly one droplet of sealant on the second or third lower thread of the new oil filler screw.
Screw oil filler screw into rear axle center assembly immediately and tighten to specified tightening torque.
