Do not touch available adhesive beads and bonding surfaces (1) with bare fingers.
The bonding surfaces (1) and adhesive beads must be free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components. Otherwise the strength of the glued connection is not ensured
- Cut available adhesive beads on bonding surfaces (1) down to a remaining height of approx. 1 mm to max. 2 mm. Remove glue residues. Remove remaining pieces of adhesive beads not completely cut off. Wet/dry vacuum cleaner http://gotis.aftersales.mercedes-benz.com
- Repair paint damage on body
- Apply primer to body on which remaining adhesive material is no longer present.
Observe processing instructions for primer to prevent adhesion problems with the adhesive material when gluing in.
