1	Move driver seat and front passenger seat towards rear
2	Remove Audio 20 radio or Audio 20 CD radio with CD changer or Audio 50 APS radio or Audio 50 APS radio with DVD changer	The removed audio component is no longer required.	AR82.60-P-7502CW
3	Remove 5-inch Audio/COMAND display	The 5-inch Audio/COMAND display is no longer required.	AR82.60-P-7722CW
4	Remove instrument cluster	For vehicles without code (442) Comfort multifunction steering wheel or without  Instrument cluster with  4.5 inch display or with  code (523) MB Audio 20 radio or with  code (510) Audio 20 with  CD changer	AR54.30-P-6015CW

6	Remove left cover below dashboard

12	Install COMAND controller unit (A40/3) with DVD changer		AR82.60-P-7502CW

18	Connect Star Diagnosis and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)
19	Run variant coding with XENTRY using software calibration number (SCN)	Listed control units must be SCN coded using the Diagnosis Assistance System: Instrument cluster "COMAND controller unit (A40/3) with DVD changer"
20	Disconnect Star Diagnosis
21	Perform function test	See operating instructions of COMAND controller unit (A40/3) with DVD changer.
