| 1 | Turn key in ignition lock (electronic ignition switch control unit) to position "0" | ||
| 2 | Hoist vehicle with lifting platform until wheels are free | AR00.60-P-1000V | |
| 3 | Remove rear wheel | ||
| Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary | AP40.10-P-4050V | ||
| 4 | Disconnect the electrical feed line from the left rear RPM sensor (L6/3) or right rear RPM sensor (L6/4). | ||
| 5 | Unclip the electrical feed line from the left rear RPM sensor (L6/3) or right rear RPM sensor (L6/4) from the feed line bracket (1) | ||
| 6 | Unscrew bolt (6a) | *BA42.30-P-1001-02A | |
| 7 | Pull the left rear RPM sensor (L6/3) or right rear RPM sensor (L6/4) out of the wheel carrier (7) | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 9 | Read out fault memory | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04A | ||
