| 1 | Reduce vacuum in BAS brake booster (A7/7) | ||
| 2 | Open engine hood and raise to vertical position | AR88.40-P-1000V | |
| 3 | Unlock the diaphragm travel sensor connector (A7/7x1) and disconnect. | ||
| 4 | Lift up lock washer (1) with screwdriver and pull BAS diaphragm travel sensor (A7/7b1) out of the BAS brake booster (A7/7) | ||
| 5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 6 | Read out fault memory | ||
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | AD00.00-P-2000-04A | ||
