2.5.07	Self-locking nut, strut rod to wheel carrier M12	*BA35.20-P-1002-03A

	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	-
1	Raise vehicle with lifting platform		AR00.60-P-1000V
2	Remove wheel.
	Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary		AP40.10-P-4050V
3	Detach twelve-point collar nut (40) from rear axle shaft (37)		AR35.30-P-0115-01V

4	Remove brake caliper and hang to one side with attached brake line	The brake line may not be tensioned.

7	Detach brake cable from wheel carrier (7)		*BA42.20-P-1002-01A
8	Remove left rear RPM sensor (L6/3) from wheel carrier (7).		*BA42.30-P-1001-02A
9	Detach tie rod (4) from wheel carrier (7)		*BA35.20-P-1002-04A
10	Remove thrust arm (5) from wheel carrier (7)		*BA35.20-P-1003-05A
11	Remove torque strut (3) from wheel carrier (7)		*BA35.20-P-1002-03A

12	Detach camber strut (2) from wheel carrier (7).	Installation: First position camber strut on wheel carrier.

13	Press rear axle shaft (37) out of wheel carrier (7)	Do not damage pulse ring for RPM sensor and boot of rear axle shaft. If the rear axle shaft is difficult to remove: ↓ Press out/pull in rear axle shaft at the wheel carrier.
14	Unscrew bolt holding spring control arm (6) to wheel carrier (7).		*BA35.20-P-1002-01A
15	Pull wheel carrier (7) upwards out of the spring control arm (6)	Installation: When moving the wheel carrier in do not damage the rubber boot of the supporting joint.
16	Install in the reverse order
17	Adjust parking brake		AR42.20-P-0540V
