REMOVING Remove
DANGER Risk of injury  to skin or eyes from hydraulic fluid spraying out under pressure. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing hydraulic fluid. Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. -
DANGER Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched  when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/ rear-end door or sliding roof. When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts. -
1 Open engine hood   AR88.40-P-1000V
2 Remove left intake air duct (1)
3 Remove the front engine cover (2).
4 Suction off oil from expansion reservoir (3) of power steering NOTES Before opening the hydraulic system the area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system.
