  1. Install rear cross member (3), spare wheel recess (4), longitudinal member connection element (2) with straightening tool (6), fit and fasten with mounting bolts (5)

    IMPORTANT Edge of bead (Y) of longitudinal member connection elements (2) should be aligned parallel tot he outer edge (X) of the spare wheel recess (4).

  2. Drill dia. 6.5 mm rivet holes in spare wheel recess (4) and longitudinal member connection element (2) (areas G, H, I, J and K).
  3. Drill dia. 6.5 mm rivet holes in longitudinal member connection element (2) (area Q).
  4. Drill dia. 7 mm hole in longitudinal member connection element (2) (area A 1 ).
  5. Remove rear cross member (3), spare wheel recess (4) and longitudinal member connection element (2).
  6. Deburr rivet holes on both sides
  7. Apply primer to insides of rivet connections

  8. Install rear cross member (3), spare wheel recess (4), longitudinal member connection element (2) with straightening tool, fit and fasten with mounting bolts, COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS manual temporary fastener and COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.
  9. Weld in rear cross member (3) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas L and M).
  10. Weld in rear cross member (3) on longitudinal member connection element (2) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas O and U).
  11. Weld in rear cross member (3) on longitudinal member connection element (2) and spare wheel recess (4) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas Q, T and V).

  12. Weld in rear cross member (3) on spare wheel recess (4) and longitudinal member connection element (2) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas U1 and W).
  13. Rivet longitudinal member connection element (2) with Polygrip flat/round head rivet, dia. 6.4 x 14 (area Q).

  14. Rivet rear cross member (3), spare wheel recess (4), longitudinal member connection element (2) with Polygrip flat/ round head rivet, dia. 6.4 x 14 (areas G, H, I, J and K).
  15. Install end plate (1) fit and fasten with COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS clamping pliers.
  16. Drill dia. 6.5 mm rivet holes (area E).
  17. Remove end plate (1).
  18. Deburr rivet holes on both sides
  19. Remove grinding chips using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
  20. Apply primer to rivet connections

  21. Install end plate (1), fit and fasten with manual temporary fastener
  22. Rivet end plate (1) on rear wheelhouse (7) with Polygrip flat/round head rivet, dia. 6.4 x 14 (area E).
  23. Weld in end plate (1) on rear wheelhouse (7) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (area D).
  24. Weld in end plate (1) on longitudinal member connection element (2) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (areas A and AA).
  25. Weld in end plate (1) on rear cross member (3) with POLARIZATION RESISTANCE SINGLE-ROW SPOT WELD (area B).
  26. Weld in end plate (1) with SHIELDED GAS PLUG WELD (area A1 ).

    IMPORTANT Weld plug weld from inside (area A1 ).
