Observe the manufacturer's assembly specifications and safety information on the engine hoist (01), in order to avoid assembly faults.

1. Mount preassembled engine hoist (01) on the strut towers and longitudinal member.

   When mounting the engine hoist (01) ensure that in the area of the longitudinal members and strut towers no lines and hoses are pinched and that the paintwork is not damaged.

2. Adjust the engine hoist (01) and tighten the bolted connections.
3. Mount lifting devices (1) on the front lifting eyes of the engine.
4. Make the lifting devices (1) taut, to do this, tighten the clamping bolts (2).
5. Lift the engine slightly until the front engine mounts are relieved of load.
