- Clamp spring strut in a vise.
Clamp in suspension strut so that hole then drilled is at highest point to allow gas to escape.
- Drill hole in suspension strut approx. 30 mm (A) from base of suspension strut with 5 mm dia. drill bit.
- Pump suspension strut empty by repeatedly pushing in and pulling out piston rod.
- Dispose of suspension strut.
