Retrofit audio gateway control unit - AN82.61-P-0001-07V

The bracket (2) is already installed in these vehicles.

• Remove both tie straps and remove wiring harness (5) from bracket (2).
• Unlock retaining lugs and remove ETC control unit (N15/3) from bracket (2).

  Do not unplug electrical connectors from ETC control unit (N15/3).

• Unscrew bolts (3) and nuts (4) and remove bracket (2) from the right footwell.

• Remove wiring harness bracket (7) from studs and remove from wiring harness (8).

  Wiring harness brackets (7) are no longer required.

  On vehicles without  code (423) 5-speed automatic transmission (NAT) or without  code (427) 7-speed automatic transmission, a new bracket (2) has to be installed.

Ensure that the two black connections (see arrows) for the black, 4-pin connector and the black, 14-pin connector are located on the right-hand side.

• Clip new cable strap bracket (6) into existing holes of new bracket (2).

• Install ETC [EGS] control unit (N15/3) on bracket (2).

  Wiring harness (5) is not attached to existing cable strap brackets on bracket (2) using tie straps until the remaining wiring harnesses are installed.
