Detach/attach line - AR25.20-P-0100-01V

Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Detach, attach feed line to brake fluid expansion reservoir 

1. Open expansion reservoir (1) for brake fluid and pump out brake fluid.

   The feed line (2) of the clutch operation must not be pinched off with clamps or pliers, otherwise it will be damaged.

2. Disconnect feed line (2) from connecting pipe (1a) of expansion reservoir (1).

   Collect brake fluid which runs out with an absorbent rag.

3. Remove gasket (2a) from connecting pipe (1a).

   Installation:  Replace the gasket (2a).

4. Insert new gasket (2a) in the feed line (2) and push feed line (2) onto the connecting pipe (1a) of the expansion reservoir (1).

   Detach/attach feed line at master cylinder 

5. Remove pedal assembly (3) and pull feed line (2) off connecting pipe (4a) of master cylinder (4).
6. Remove gasket (2a) from connecting pipe (4a).

   Installation:  Replace the gasket (2a).

7. Insert new gasket (2a) in the feed line (2) and push feed line (2) onto the connecting pipe (4a) of the master cylinder (4).

   To simplify assembly, pull feed line (2) several centimeters into the passenger compartment.
