| 2 | Remove air filter housing | AR09.10-P-1150VA | |
| 3 | Remove hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5) | AR07.07-P-1453VA | |
| 4 | Detach hose (1) on air duct housing (2) | ||
| 5 | Unclip electrical feed line from bracket (arrow) on air duct housing (2) | ||
| 6 | Detach retaining clamp (3) for electric wiring harness on air duct housing (2) | ||
| 7 | Press notch (4a) downwards and swivel air duct housing (2) below away from throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
| 8 | Lift notch (4b) and remove air duct housing (2) from throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
| Checking | |||
| 9 | Check seals (2a) | ||
| 10 | Install in reverse order | ||
| Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near engine | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
