Sport program (S) or Comfort program (C)
The lower multifunction display (A1p15) indicates the currently selected shift range "1", "2", "3", "4", "D" or the selector lever position "R", "N" or "P".
In addition the program selection Sport program (S) or Comfort program (C) performed at the transmission mode switch (S16/5) is displayed.
The current shift range and the currently selected program are sent to the instrument cluster (A1) by the ETC [EGS] control unit (N15/3) via the Controller Area Network bus class C (engine compartment) (CAN-C).
Manual program (M)
The lower multifunction display (A1p15) indicates the engaged gear "1", "2", "3", "4" or "5". In addition the program selection Manual program performed at the transmission mode switch (S16/5) is displayed (M).
The current shift range and the currently selected program are sent to the instrument cluster (A1) by the ETC [EGS] control unit (N15/3) via CAN-C.
