3.12.03	Risk of injury  due to the seat backrest suddenly folding down, safety note added
3.12.03	Risk of injury  during test and repair work on airbag units or emergency tensioning retractor units added

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by backrest suddenly folding forward if release lever is accidentally operated during inspection and repair work	When working on the seat, be careful not to accidentally release the backrest mechanism allowing the seat to fold forward. Keep body parts clear of the backrest travel area.	AS91.00-Z-0005-01V
	Risk of injury.  Injuries may result when performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag unit with deployment face up, do not subject to temperatures above 100°C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	-
1	Open Vario roof
2	Move right seat (1) into the foremost, highest position and fold the seat backrest forwards completely
3	Turn key in electronic ignition switch control unit to position "0"
4	Unscrew seat fastening bolts of right seat (1)		AR91.10-P-1000V
			*BA91.10-P-1007-01A
5	Lift up and support right seat (1) at the front	Handle right seat (1) carefully! Do not damage the interior equipment of the vehicle with the seat rails. Do not subject to tension or damage electrical feed lines at the bottom of the right seat (1).
6	Unscrew nut (2)		*BA42.45-P-1002-01E
7	Remove micromechanical yaw rate sensor AY pickup (B24/15) from the threaded bolt on the floor panel
8	Disconnect electrical connector on micromechanical yaw rate sensor AY pickup (B24/15) and remove micromechanical yaw rate sensor AY pickup (B24/15)	The micromechanical yaw rate sensor AY pickup (B24/15) is sensitive to shocks.
		Installation:  The arrow printed on the side of the housing must point in the direction of travel
9	Install in the reverse order
10	Read out fault memory	Diagnosis system STAR DIAGNOSIS	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
