Measuring steering knuckle (removed) - AR40.30-P-0451C

MEASURING Measure     
1 Place steering knuckle with installed wheel hub or brake disc on parallel supports    
2 Measure and note height dimension (A) as a comparative measurement with a height marking device IMPORTANT Measure on the flat surface of the brake caliper mounting.

3 Scan and note height dimensions (B1, B2, B3) at the lowest point of the respective bore IMPORTANT The test values are calculated from the difference between height dimension (A) and the height dimensions:
B1 = Supporting joint mounting
B2 = Bearing of upper transverse control arm
B3 = Bearing of steering knuckle arm/tie rod
