Check tire inflation pressure and correct if necessary |
See tire inflation pressure chart inside the fuel filler flap. |

Check condition of tires |
Visual inspection for wear pattern, tread depth and damage. |

Check condition of rims |
Visual inspection for damage. |

Check tire pressure and correct if necessary |

Check vehicle underside for damage, corrosion of suspension parts, chassis parts and supporting body parts, leaks from major assemblies and lines |

Raise front axle and check wheel bearing play without dial indicator |

| 7 |
Check condition of steering mechanism |

Check rear axle joints for play, check rubber boots |

| 9 |
Check condition of shock absorbers and springs |
|
| 10 |
Drive the vehicle onto the measuring station and secure using the parking brake |

| 11 |
Unlock turnplates and sliding platforms |
|
| 12 |
Raise vehicle level and then lower again |
Vehicles with Active Body Control (ABC) or air suspension. |
| 13 |
Rock vehicle at front and rear axles several times to settle suspension |
Vehicles with steel suspension. |
