Remove/install upholstery for backrest on front seat - AR91.10-P-1090VA

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by backrest suddenly folding forward if release lever is accidentally operated during inspection and repair work	When working on the seat, be careful not to accidentally release the backrest mechanism allowing the seat to fold forward. Keep body parts clear of the backrest travel area.	AS91.00-Z-0005-01V
1	Remove head restraint on left or right front seat		AR91.16-P-0040V
2	Remove front seat		AR91.10-P-1000V
3	Remove tensioning element from front seat backrest		AR91.10-P-1910V
4	Undo bolts (2) and remove clips (3) using suitable pair of pliers	Do not damage paint on backrest frame (9), backrest frame (9) may corrode.
		Use touch-up pencil to rectify any paint damage at positions, which are subsequently not visible. Paint damage in the visible area of the backrest frame (9) cannot be touched up. If necessary, the backrest frame (9) will have to be replaced. See ↓	*BR00.45-Z-1012-07A
		Remove/install front seat backrest frame (9)	AR91.10-P-3331VA
5.1	Remove tie straps (4)	Only on vehicles with code (403) Airscarf System Installation:  Replace tie straps (4).
6	Remove plug assembly (5) using suitable screwdriver on bracket (6), detach electrical connector (7) and expose wiring harness (8) on seat cushion	Installation:  Ensure that wiring harness is properly routed (8).
7	Slide upholstery (1) upwards and remove	Installation:  insert tab (10) into the backrest frame (9).
8	Install in the reverse order
