"Disconnect/connect battery ground line" removed

	Remove/install
	Risk of injury caused by backrest suddenly folding forward if release lever is accidentally operated during inspection and repair work	When working on the seat, be careful not to accidentally release the backrest mechanism allowing the seat to fold forward. Keep body parts clear of the backrest travel area.	AS91.00-Z-0005-01V
1.1	Transfer basic data of driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) into STAR DIAGNOSIS	Only when replacing the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) Installation: Transfer basic data from STAR DIAGNOSIS to driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2).
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A

2	Completely open Vario roof	See Operator's Manual
3	Raise up the left or right front seat (1) and move it forward	See Operator's Manual
4	Fold seat backrest forward	See Operator's Manual
5	Unscrew bolt (2) on left and right rear at the seat rails	Installation: Replace screws (2) and align seat rails before screwing in place.

6	Position front seat (1) to rear	See Operator's Manual
7	Unscrew bolt (2) on left and right front at the seat rails	Installation: Replace screws (2) and align seat rails before screwing in place.

8	Tilt front seat (1) as far back as possible until the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or the passenger side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) is accessible
9	Disconnect electrical connector (3) from the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2)
10	Unclip driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) out of bracket and place to front
11	Disconnect electrical connectors (4) and remove driver front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) or front passenger front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2) from vehicle
12	Install in the reverse order
