| 2 | Mark installation position of Bowden cable (1) | ||
| 3 | Expose Bowden cable (1) | Replace damaged fasteners. |

| 4 | Unclip Bowden cable (1) from catch outer section (2) | ||
| 5 | Mark installation position of clip-type fastener (3) on Bowden cable (1) | ||
| 6 | Remove clip-type fastener (3) from thrust bearing (4) | ||
| 7 | Unclip Bowden cable (1) on gate valve (6) (arrow) | ||
| 8 | Knock mount (5) on Bowden cable (1) up with plastic mallet and mounting wedge and remove from gate valve (6) | Figure | |
| 9 | Remove Bowden cable (1) from vehicle | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order |
