	The automatic child seat recognition (ACSR) lamp is switched on by the lower control panel (LCP) following terminal 15R ON. To enable this, the airbag with integrated emergency call system (ARMIN) control unit connects the discrete line leading to the LCP to ground potential (terminal 31) following terminal 15R ON.	1 Erase fault memory.
	The LCP then switches on the ACSR lamp. The lamp remains lit until the signal line from the ARMIN is no longer connected to ground potential.	2 Switch off ignition. Wait at least 5 seconds.
	If terminal 15R quickly changes from ON to OFF and then back to ON, this is not detected by the airbag with integrated emergency call system (ARMIN) control unit and ground potential is therefore not connected to the signal line.	3 Switch on ignition. If fault code B1559 is no longer stored or current in the fault memory, the previously stored fault code B1559 can be ignored.
	As a result, fault code B1559 is stored in the LCP.
	The fault code means: The actuation signal from the control unit N2/7 (restraint systems control unit) for the component E16 (automatic child seat recognition airbag OFF indicator lamp) is not received. Automatic child seat recognition	In this case, do not remove/install/replace LCP control unit.
		If the fault code still persists: ↓ 4 Check signal line from ARMIN control unit. Connector 6 PIN 7 at LCP to ground (< 2V) and terminal 15R ON: ACSR lamp ON. Connector 6 PIN 7 at LCP "open load" (> 6V): ACSR lamp OFF. Following terminal 15R ON, the ACSR lamp will be switched on for approx. 4 seconds if the system is functioning correctly.
