The surround lamp (A67e3) is a powerful LED, which is located in the inside rearview mirror unit (A67). Its purpose is to illuminate the center console.
Switching surround lamp on/off
The surround lamp is switched on automatically when circuit 15R is ON and switched off automatically when circuit 15R is OFF .
Actuation
The surround lamp (A67e3) is operated directly by the overhead control panel control module (N70). The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives the information "circuit 15R status" from the EIS control module (N73) over CAN for this purpose.
The surround lamp is not dependent on the lights on sensor (B32/1) and the position of the switch for door contact ON and OFF (N70s3).
