	Remove/install
	Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Before opening the hydraulic system, thoroughly clean the area surrounding the separation point. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system

1	Relieve pressure in the rear axle ABC system		AR32.50-P-0001-01N
2	Remove left exhaust tailpipe	Vehicles with gasoline engine	AR49.10-P-7100SX
		Vehicles with diesel engine	AR49.10-P-7100SXI
3	Detach cover panel (1) of spare tire well
4	Detach heat shield (6)
5	Remove bolt (3) and remove hydraulic line (8) from pressure reservoir (2)	Detach hydraulic line (8) at the earliest 10 minutes after switching off the engine, as only then is the ABC system completely unpressurized. Installation: Check sealing rings for damage and replace if necessary. Check support rings for damage and replace the complete hydraulic line (8) if necessary.	*BA32.50-P-1007-01B
6	Seal pressure reservoir (2) with stop plugs	Plug	Fig 2

8	Remove rear center assembly paneling	See Remove panelings in luggage compartment.	AR68.30-P-4600SX
9	Remove pressure reservoir (2)	If necessary:↓
		Dispose of pressure reservoir.	OS32.30-P-0620-01A
10	Install in the reverse order
11	Fill and bleed ABC system		AR32.50-P-0021SX
