	Risk of explosion  caused by oxyhydrogen gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  caused by swallowing battery acid. Risk of injury  caused by burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries	No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and glasses. Only pour battery acid into suitable and appropriately marked containers.	AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
1	Disconnect battery ground line

2	Remove COMAND controller unit	Only pull out to front until electrical connectors are accessible.
3	Remove glove compartment
			AR68.10-P-1400SX
	Install
4	Retrofit AUX jack wiring harness		AZ82.60-P-0021-01SX
5	Install in the reverse order	Steps 3 to 1.
6	Enable AUX jack with STAR DIAGNOSIS	Perform variant coding with STAR DIAGNOSIS to activate the AUX function of the COMAND.
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
7	Carry out function check	Check AUX function as per operating instructions in vehicle.
